The founding team - Mike, Chris and Ceri - built the team and the principles that grew the World Economic Forum into a digital storytelling powerhouse. Our mission is to give other organisations access to the same processes, technologies and editorial talent to help them scale high-impact and SDG-focused digital stories on their owned media channels.

 

Mike Hanley

  • Mike was Head of Digital Communications and a Member of the Executive Committee at the World Economic Forum for eight years until the end of 2018. Before that he was a writer, publisher, editor and digital content consultant in London and Sydney, Australia. He’s written three books, has three kids, and likes to write three point sentences.

Chris Parker

  • Chris was Head of Digital Media at the World Economic Forum from 2011 to 2019. Together with Mike, he built the technical foundations for the Forum’s digital media dominance, enabling an audience of over 6 million unique visitors to the Forum’s website each month. Chris’s time at the Forum followed a decade as a product manager across news and social at Thomson Reuters.

Ceri Radford

  • Ceri started her career as a financial journalist with Reuters, before moving into national newspapers in the UK. She then spent nearly a decade building up the World Economic Forum’s digital machine, turning their blog into a global platform for thought leadership. A lifelong lover of words, Ceri has published a novel and writes a guest column for the Independent newspaper.
